The IBISTM is an ideal solution for basic fleet, automotive insurance, stolen vehicle, vehicle finance, auto rental and other vehicle track and trace applications where an internal back-up battery is required.

The IBISTM is a complete vehicle tracking and communications device incorporating next-generation, supersensitive

GPS technology on GSM/GPRS cellular networks for installation in any 12 or 24 volt vehicle. Superior internal antennas for both cellular and GPS eliminate the need for wired antennas and make the IBISTM mountable virtually anywhere in the vehicle for easy, inexpensive installations. Messages are transported across the cellular network using SMS or TCP messaging providing a reliable communications link between the device and your application servers. The IBISTM is designed to dramatically reduce cost, power and size while providing excellent reliability.

Flexibility

The IBISTM employs Softcruise advanced industry leading on-board alert engine, CEGTM (Customizable Event Generator) to monitor external conditions and support customer-defined exception-based rules to meet your application requirements. CEG monitors the vehicle environment and responds instantaneously to pre-defined threshold conditions related to time, date, motion, location, geo-zone, input and other event combinations. This behaviour can be Programmed by Softcruise before shipment, at a customer's facility, or overthe-air once the unit has been fielded.

Over-The-Air Serviceability

The IBISTM leverage's Softcruise management and maintenance system, UCLSTM (Updates, Configuration, and Logistics System), for over-the-air configuration parameters, CEG rules, and firmware. The IBISTM offers out-of-the-box hands free configuration and automatic post-installation upgrades that can monitor unit health status across your customers' fleets and identify issues before they become expensive problems.
